The Ultimate Sports Video Editing Desk Setup for Golf & Pickleball
We have covered in depth how do you create amazing golf videos. You need the right camera, video filming techniques, and audio. The real magic and where you will just as much time editing those videos at your workstation. That is why I’m going to cover the ultimate sports video editing desk setup.
Monitor
I currently use a 28 inch Asus 4K Gaming monitor to video it. I love it because I can swivel and rotate it and videos look great on this monitor. Ideally if you can get a monitor that it a little bit larger I would go with that. For 2026 I would so you need 4K resolution, USB-C connection is more versatile, and at least 32 inches for a better video editing experience.
Desk
I recommend starting with a good foundation. A good desk. You want enough space for your monitors, hard-drives, laptop, mouse, and room to spare and spread things out. I purchased an adjustable desk from Amazon that was awarded the Amazon choice. This desk is 47 * 24 inches which gives you enough space for all your things and has a memory function for different heights. It was an amazon choice and under $160 Canadian. I like to alternation between sitting and standing.
Chair
The chair is also a good investment. You want a chair that is ergonomic and is comfortable to sit in for hours without discomfort. Good back support, adjustable height, and maybe arms that can adjust are must have features. I recommend buying a chair from a store where you can actually sit and try the chair rather than buy it online.
Microphone
For sports videos it’s essential to do voiceovers for commentary. I use the Blue Yeti Usb microphone with the pop filter for my golf and pickleball voiceovers.
As you can see I more accessories in the photo to talk about, which I’ll get into more in the future as I update this post. Please see my storage post for hard drive tips.
