I use convertkit to build my leads and email list and well as deliver some of my digital products to customers. I love the power, simplicity, and automation that convertkit offers. You can quickly create embeddable opt-ins and stand alone landing pages. It has great integration with other platforms like teachable (for online courses), gumroad, shoppify, and more without using zapier. Try convertkit for free here.

Teachable

I use Teachable to host and offer my online courses for the Content Creator Academy. They are simple to use and integrate well with convert kit email marketing. It's easy to manage courses as a Teacher. You can upload lessons in bulk from dropbox or google drive. You can duplicate courses, create bundles, offer course promotions, create an affiliate army, and drip feed your content.

I run this wordpress website chicvoyageproductions.com using siteground for many years after I got a recommendation from my Australian SEO expert friend Michael. Siteground is a favourite among my digital nomads friends. I like the price of their webhosting, the performance, and simplicity of the dashboard management. Their web hosting plans start from $7 a month.

I run this wordpress website but I use Thrive Architect with bolts on top on wordpress to give me more visual friendly abilities especially on landing pages and pages I really need to stand out. With Thrive I can add big buttons, nice easy to read text, use high converting templates to start with, menus, and even lead generation forms that connect to convertkit.  Thrive has a whole family of value quality focused products to help marketing efforts for content creators and entrepreneurs. Thrive Architect  starts at $67 US for a lifetime license for 1 site or you can license all their programs monthly for $19 a month.

Skillshare

Skillshare is an affordable way to learn from myself and other teachers. On Skillshare you can learn everything from videography, photography, and cooking. I teach my standalone courses on videography, stock footage, and editing and also learn marketing from other teachers.

Adobe Creative Suite

Adobe's software creative suite is essential to run my content creation business. I use Premiere Pro to create professional videos for paid clients and also for my social media. I use Adobe Spark to design my social media graphics for youtube and my online courses. I also use Photoshop and lightroom to edit and design the photos I take around the world on my drone and SLR. I like that Adobe Creative suite works on Mac or Windows and you install on up to 2 computers.

Transferwise is an essential service made by the creators of skype. When it comes to transferring funds from a bank in another country and currency. For example, I can transfer funds from my Thailand bank account to my US Bank account. In fact you can create an American bank account using transferwise all online. You can easily create a borderless business account to receive payments from customers around the world. Link your home bank account and transfer between banks at fair market rates (Xe Currency rates). Xe Currency is my my favorite app to do international currency calculation.

IceCream Screen Recorder

When I was looking for an affordable but reliable Windows tool to screen record for my courses and youtube tutorials I found Icecream Screenrecorder.  I tried free options, but they were filled with ads and not quality software. I like that icecream lets you screenshot and if you screen record you can add a webcam video box and record audio from an external mic with additional options to draw and zoom in.

Viltrox Canon to Micro 4/3’s lens adaptor is my secret weapon allowing me to use Canon Lenses on the GH5 or any other micro 4/3 camera's. I use my Viltrox adaptor with the My Canon 24-105 L Lens plus I get an extra stop of light making an F4 an F2.8 lens.
