Manfrotto Medium Backpack for DSLR Camera & Personal Gear

Manfrotto camera backpack

The Manfrotto Medium Backpack meets all my needs for protecting my most essential gear. I need a backpack that can carry a 15 inch laptop with padding, external hard drive, a lens compartment with padding, a camera compartment with padding, side pockets for drinks, somewhere to carry a small tripod, and additional tings. This is my main backpack for going out for the day whether I need to pack my laptop, camera, a lens, a drone, and tripod. I've even used it to travel internationally. It's light weight, waterproof, not too flashy, and functional. Get it here.

Hanoi Vietnam Videos & photos 4k

The DJI Osmo is a small but powerful way to get stabilized 4K footage with a built-in camera. Great for vloggers and stock footage videographers. Get it here.

DJI Ronin S Gimbal Essential Kit

DJI Ronin S Gimbal Review

Filming with the gimbal from a moving red truck in chiang mai with the Panasonic GH5 & Canon 24-105 Lens.

The DJI Ronin S Gimbals will help add production value for large to medium SLR & mirrorless camera setup through stabilization and robotic arm technology. You can create motion lapses, film from moving cars, and create dolly like movements in a fairly agile setup. It's great for stock footage giving me the ability to film smooth 4K footage with my GH5 or shoot events for clients. Get it here.

If you have a lighter payload meaning a camera body and lens that is below 2kg you may want to consider the Ronin SC, which is bit better value and lighter to travel with. Get it here

Business of Video

If you need a larger tripod that can support more weight like in the picture above with smooth pan and tilt then I recommend Manfrotto tripods. They are made in Italy and have good quality and repair centers around the world should your gear ever get damaged. Get it here.

Sigma 30mm F1.4 for Micro 4/3

sigma 30mm f1.4

The Sigma 30mm F1.4 lens is a great low light performer and offers pleasing blurry bokeh on micro 4/3 camera's like the GH5. Because it's a crop sensor camera you're getting closer to 60mm equivalent. It provides nice blurry bokeh whether it's for photos or video. In fact the photo below was done with this setup. It also excels at night where the GH5 is known for not being a great performer because of the small sensor. Get the Sigma 30mm F1.4 here

This drone is small enough to fit in your backpack, yet powerful enough to shoot 4k UHD (3840 * 2160) videos with about 16 min flight time on a 3 axis gimbal. It has the modern tech like front and back collision sensors & return to home that you expect from the Mavic series. You need this in your backpack to help clients get facility shots and rare 4k drone stock footage. Get it Here
